Warm Meals Bring Holiday Joy
The Abbey collects $8,000 for holiday meals for local non-profit, Aid For AIDS
LOS ANGELES, CA – December 6, 2005 The Abbey has generously shown their support for Aid For AIDS by collecting $8,000 for holiday meals for Aid For AIDS clients. This wonderful gift from The Abbey will provide dinner to 229 households. Each household will receive a classic turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, bread, stuffing and gravy. Albertson's is taking care of putting together and delivering the meals to each household. The deliveries are taking place from Dec. 13 through the holiday season.
The Abbey has been a long-time supporter of Aid For AIDS. “We are so honored to receive this gift from The Abbey to help our clients. They have been so supportive of Aid For AIDS. To be able to provide these holiday meals for so many needy households is tremendous.” said Terry Goddard II, Executive Director of Aid For AIDS.
