West Hollywood, Calif. (May 9, 2008) - Just in time for Summer, West Hollywood mecca, The Abbey Food and Bar, will add a little spice and a lot of fun with a host of new entertaining and sensational weekly events. Candis Cayne, one the East Coast's most notable performers, brings her energetic hit one woman show, featuring dancing and improvisational comedy, to California and can be seen live every Monday night at The Abbey, starting May 26. Additionally, weekly, interactive karaoke, complete with surprise celebrity performers and first class production, will keep guests entertained all summer long. The Abbey is already well-known for its unique twist on comfort cuisine and signature cocktails, and these new events will create one of the city's most unique entertainment line-ups:

KARAOKE NIGHT
The Abbey puts a new twist on karaoke, where surprise celebrity and professional appearances are intermixed with contestants selected from amongst restaurant patrons. Performances from some of the brightest new stars of the hit musical Wicked and past contestants from "American Idol" are currently scheduled.
WHEN: Sunday nights, Beginning Sunday, May 11, 9:00 pm

CANDIS CAYNE'S ONE WOMAN SHOW
The transgender star of ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money" is a triple threat incorporating song, dance and stand-up comedy, along with music provided by DJ Marco, into this unique and entertaining variety show.
